Waves

Running, sprinting, hurrying, colliding
The waves keep coming
To beat the shore
Sometimes falling on each other
Sometimes mixed with one another
They keep running towards the shore
Sometimes they end in the middle
Sometimes they miss by a whisker
Sometimes they even reach the shore!
Then they laugh
But just for a moment
Because then they see
Produced in front of the wet patch
Is a new shore!
