Nothing, I say
Things don't work out as expected
Best laid plans go hay-wired
I find unhappiness
Or it finds me
Spreads everywhere I look
Sweet words disappear
Bad moods prevail
Harsh words, hurt feelings
Fear of who they were then
So I ran.
To find that happy feeling again
To chase my next high
The next thing to make me feel good
My next source of happiness
So that is the reason
I ran.
