Aged Courage

I look old and I am all wrinkled

I have lost the enthusiasm I had

I dread for the next day

But with courage I try to stand

My legs don't support me anymore

I have become helpless

Every moment is tough for me

But with determination I try to walk

I am all famished

I still have my loyalty and love intact

I still try and guard the house

With all willingness I try to adjust

My voice has become meek

My hunger has gone down

I know I am outliving my age

With all due respect I am living!
