I went out to hunt happiness
It must be somewhere
In light
In winds
In trees
In the waves of the ocean
In brightness
Or in shadow
In the humming of the birds
Or others in the buzz
In the entanglement of others
Life in peave
In the eyes
Or in the things
In dreams
In the head or
In loved ones
In cities
Or flying in fun
In clouds in space
In raindrops
In getting immersed in water
In the tune of a song
In life's rhythm

I'm glad I didn't find it anywhere
Don't know why everyone is unhappy
For leaves
Getting shredded from trees
For rivers
Meeting the sea
For birds
Going away in spring
For humans
This time scale
To an homage to life
Happiness is not the reason
For not being upset
