Don't Give Up

I stood by the bridge
In silence and fear
For the demons of unknown
Had driven me here

They want to cut my heart
Right through my chest
Making me believe
That the demons knew best

The demons were always there
Sometimes just out of sight
Waiting in the background
Till the right time

These demons are destructive
Knocking down the life I know
Hating everything about me
I hating my own self too

These demons can't be seen
But they really are there
They live inside my mind
Their evilness prevails

So on the bridge I stood
About to end this fight
Then I stopped and thought
Let me fight them for one more night.
