Expectation

We all have expectations
Around us
Some make us
Some break us
A few realistic
Most of them far-fetched
Still what is life
Is there are no expectations
Whom do we compete with
How do we know we succeeded
Is that success even anywhere close
To be a part of our routine?
We all are running behind a dream
And we all are
Keeping our own standards
We all stress out in that
Forgetting those our are own
Made goals
We lose on our patience
We forget to be happy
All in the silly race
Of fulfilling our expectations
Which hold no ground
In the practical world
So what is right
To keep expectations or
Not to keep any?
Let us strive at keeping expectations
But not ruining our sleeps
In achieving any of them
Eventually victory is
A path to be followed
And not a destination to be reached
