Demise

Why do we mourn
Over the demise of our loved ones
Why do we keep wondering
What is going to happen
Post death
Is there rebirth
Or is the soul set free
Does one achieve nirvana
Or has to face his karmas

We are too small
To answer any of these
All that we do
Is sit and mourn

Lets get another angle
To this now

The memories last forever
The imprints too never die
The lessons taught are
Learnt forever
Emotions felt
Never subside

So even if our loved one
Passes away
He will always be alive in our hearts
Till we die
And be alive in someone else's heart
This circle will never stop
Then why should we mourn
Rather we should smile
As victory is remembering
The lessons taught
And not crying
Over mortality
