Responsibility

Every man is responsible
For the life he lives
From the things he takes
To the things he gives

Time is of the essence
And he must not delay
To do the things tomorrow
That he can do today

Even if you are killing time
And think your life is through
Then grab a pen or a pencil
And write a verse or two

Responsibility is not always work
It's the things that must be done
The ones who are responsible
Have played the game and won

If you can act your age
And do what you know is right
Then responsibility will always come
To the ones who do not fight
