Dog

Dogs pretend they like to fight
They often bark but rarely bite
But yet a dog is on the whole
A simple living soul
A usual dog is much inclined
To play the role of a clown
And far from showing too much pride
Is frequently undignified
A dog is very easily befriended
Just tickle him under the chin
Or rub his back or shake his paw
And he will run and laugh
A dog is such an easy-going hooligan
He will answer any hail or shout
