Fall Only To Get Back Up

I trip off my feet
I fall
Falling
Falling hard on the ground
I hit the ground
The ground shakes
And suddenly everything is dark
I hit hard and black out

I listen
As words flow
Through my brain
Awake
Family
Work
Hope

I feel
I am on the top of a mountain
Alone
It is still completely
Dark
And I will wait

But I have hope
Hope that a little idea
Will gently fly into my mind
And bring me back
Back out of the darkness
Back out of my mind

And as day light rises
I realize I am back
Back where I am heard
And I realize
Falling is like life
You may fall
But you can
Always get back up

I got up again
I am hurt but
Not broken
And i might fall again
But know I know how to get up
And how to rise again
